Charles O. Izard Partner, Private Banking
Charlie Izard is a General Partner of Brown Brothers Harriman in the Private Banking line of business. Private Banking provides advice and capital to private business owners and people of substantial wealth to help them create, transition, preserve and grow their capital. He is a current member of the Private Banking Oversight Committee and the Private Banking Investment Oversight Committee.
Mr. Izard has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined BBH in 1995 and became a General Partner of the firm in 2004. His previous roles have included head of Private Wealth Management, president of BBH Mutual Funds, co-head of Investment and Wealth Management, vice chairman of the BBH Trust Company and a member of BBH’s Finance Committee. Mr. Izard established BBH’s Charlotte, North Carolina, office in 1995.
Mr. Izard graduated from the The Hotchkiss School and St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in history. He serves on the finance committee of the YWCA of the Central Carolinas, the finance committee of The Belk Foundation and is a member of the Wake Forest College Board of Visitors.
