Kathryn C. George Partner

Kathryn George is a Partner of Brown Brothers Harriman in the Private Banking line of business overseeing many activities, including the BBH Center for Women and Wealth. She is also responsible for the firms’ Global Human Resources function.

Ms. George has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  She joined BBH in 1986, and has served as Head of Merchant Banking and of Equity Sales, Research and Trading and has overseen Global Compliance, Internal Audit, Office of the General Counsel and Enterprise Risk Management. She has chaired the firm’s Governance Risk and Compliance Oversight, Institutional Risk and Credit Committees and is currently the chair of the Private Banking Investment Oversight Committee and a member of the Private Banking Oversight Committee, the Pension Administration Committee and the Capital Partners Investment Committee.

Ms. George is the chairman of the board of Gillen Brewer School, a trustee and member of the Executive Committee of Trinity College and a trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee of the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity College.
