On October 2, 2018, the WNBA announced that Lisa Borders is stepping down from her role as president of the WNBA to be the first president and CEO of Time’s Up – “an organization that insists on safe, fair and dignified work for women of all kinds.” The CW&W wishes her the best of luck in her new endeavors and focus on promoting gender equality.
