If we learned anything from 2020, it is how quickly things can change, and now in the second quarter of 2021, we are finally seeing some changes for the better. Most analysts started 2021 very bearish on the dollar, but the call since changed in late January to bullish for the second quarter. Democrats sweeping the Georgia Senate races, further U.S. stimulus in the pipeline, and the successful vaccination rollouts are the factors making way for the U.S. economy to be the driver of global growth in the second and third quarters of this year.
