Lata Vyas is Head of Alternative Funds Solutions at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) within Investor Services, which provides asset servicing and operating model solutions to the world’s leading asset managers and financial institutions. Lata is responsible for the strategy, design, and evolution of BBH’s private markets solutions, including products supporting real estate, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and hedge fund clients. She works closely with alternative asset managers to address evolving fund servicing needs and help them navigate the operational complexities of private markets investing.
Based in London, Lata is a specialist in private markets products and client consultancy. Her expertise includes solutions for democratized private market products and blended private and public portfolio structures, helping clients meet operational, distribution, and investor servicing requirements across an increasingly complex investment landscape.
Since joining BBH in 2017, Lata has played a key role in the growth and development of the firm’s private markets capabilities. Prior to BBH, she worked at Abingworth LLP, a UK-based private equity fund manager, where she focused on front- and back-office operational transformation initiatives. Earlier in her career, she was a member of State Street’s fund administration team, overseeing London-based service delivery teams supporting multi-jurisdictional private equity, real estate, infrastructure, fund of funds, and asset owner structures. She began her financial services career in Mumbai, India, focusing on foreign exchange market solutions at Thomson Reuters.
Lata holds a BA in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Mumbai.
