KRAKOW, Poland, November 21, 2023 - Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH) is pleased to announce that Tim O’Brien and Rafal Grzech will assume responsibility as Co-Heads of BBH’s Krakow office and Co-Chairs of the Krakow Executive Committee. In these roles, Tim and Rafal will oversee the Service Delivery and Systems functions for Investor Services in Krakow. They assume Office Head responsibilities from Haluk Akdemir who retires from his 29-year career at BBH.
Tim O’Brien, Managing Director, will oversee Service Delivery for Krakow. Tim began his career at BBH more than 20 years ago in the Boston office and moved to Krakow in 2016. During that time, Tim has held senior leadership positions across Client Service, Custody and Transfer Agency areas.
Rafal Grzech, Managing Director, will oversee Systems, BBH’s technology function. Rafal joined BBH’s Service Delivery Custody group in 2019, bringing with him technical and managerial expertise across a range of disciplines including: Technology, Information Security, Automation, Management Systems, and Delivery Excellence.
