Tomohisa Shirasawa is the Head of Institutional Business and Asset Management in the Relationship Management department in Tokyo. He joined BBH in April 2016 and has been responsible for the firm’s relationship with institutional investors and asset management clients. With extensive experience in the asset management industry, he is passionate about providing clients with solutions to the challenges they face under an evolving industry environment with a consultative approach.

Prior to joining BBH, he spent nine years working for Tokio Marine Asset Management. He was based in Singapore with responsibility for new business development as well as existing client services across Asia. He started his career with a Japanese beer manufacturer in 1995 and was in charge of marketing activities in the Chinese market, followed by joining a venture capital firm based in Tokyo in 2004.

Tomohisa holds a B.A. degree in law from Keio University since 1995. He speaks Japanese, English, and Chinese (Mandarin).
