In our “By the Numbers” infographic, we explore the enormous effect COVID-19 has had on women on the frontlines, at home and at work, as well as highlight a few silver linings to come out of the pandemic.

Women represent 70% of health and social services staff worldwide, 76% of U.S. healthcare jobs

U.S. women hold 78% of hospital jobs, 70% of pharmacy jobs, 51% of grocery store jobs

U.S. healthcare worker infection rate: 73% women, 27% men
