Rob Rusk  

Over his career, Rob Rusk has invested in, advised, and served on the boards of numerous private companies including a variety of family-owned businesses. His expertise includes energy, energy transition, infrastructure, industrial, and other segments. In addition to private equity, Rob has experience in M&A, leveraged finance, project finance, and bankruptcy/restructuring. Rob is a Co-Founder and the Chairman of the Senior Advisory Board of Orion Infrastructure Capital (formerly known as Orion Energy Partners). As a former Partner, Rob served as a member of the Management and Investment Committees and Chair of the Valuation Committee. Prior to Orion, Rob was a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Cypress Associates, Managing Director of Investment Banking at CIBC World Markets, and an investment banker at Bear Stearns and Bankers Trust. Rob is a board member of Goodway Technologies and Center Phase Energy and an observer to the boards of Tiger Rentals and MidCentral Energy Services. He is also a member of several charitable and community boards, including the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund and CareerSpring. Rob has been qualified as an expert in leveraged finance in federal bankruptcy court. He received a B.A. from Hamilton College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
