Rob Ankner is a Managing Director on Brown Brothers Harriman’s (BBH) Relationship Excellence team within Investor Services, which provides asset servicing and operating model solutions to the world’s leading asset managers and financial institutions. Rob focuses on business development and strategy across the asset management sector, helping clients address complex operational challenges, pursue growth opportunities, and navigate an evolving industry landscape. Since joining BBH in 2019, he has worked to connect clients with solutions that support their business objectives while strengthening long-term strategic partnerships.

Based in Boston, Rob works with asset managers, banks, and other financial institutions, drawing on extensive experience spanning Asia Pacific, Europe, and the US. He and his team strive to deliver exceptional client experiences by combining industry expertise, innovative solutions, and a consultative approach that helps clients streamline operations, launch new products, and respond to changing regulatory and market demands. To support BBH’s mission of being long-term partners in clients’ success, Rob focuses on building meaningful relationships and delivering solutions that create lasting value. Prior to joining BBH, Rob held senior business development, product strategy, and relationship management roles at State Street Corporation in Singapore, London, and Boston. These experiences provided him with a global perspective on the asset servicing industry and deepened his understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing investment managers and financial institutions.

Rob earned a BA in Communications from Boston College and completed Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development.
