Leonard Fishman

Len Fishman is a Managing Director of BBH. In this role, he advises private business owners, founders, and families on complex matters related to their business, investing, wealth planning, and family business matters. In addition to providing strategic advice, he helps deliver the firm’s debt and private equity solutions.

Prior to joining the firm, Len co-founded and ran three successful businesses, including a financial technology company that was acquired, a software-as-a-service business that returned investor capital, and a data infrastructure business that was acquired by ServiceNow. Len previously worked as an equity investor at Scopia Capital and began his career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Nomura (who acquired the Lehman division where he worked). Working in the U.S., Asia, and Latin America, his professional and board experience spans numerous industries, including business services, technology, transportation and logistics, and manufacturing.

Len received a A.B. cum laude in economics from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph Wharton Fellow.
