Kerry Porter

As a Senior Fiduciary Director, Kerry Porter is responsible for fiduciary business acceptance and governance and the delivery of fiduciary services for the Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company of Delaware. Kerry also works with clients and their advisors to develop and execute wealth transfer plans and advises on complex planning and fiduciary issues that involve Delaware law.

Prior to joining the firm, Kerry was in private legal practice in Wilmington, Delaware, specializing in estate and trust litigation, estate planning and wealth preservation, estate administration, and advising fiduciaries in all matters relating to trusts and estates. Kerry is a graduate of the Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and a member of the Estates & Trusts Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Delaware, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association.

Kerry received a B.S. cum laude from Wilmington University, a J.D. with pro bono distinction from Widener University School of Law (Delaware Law School), and an LL.M. in taxation and Certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
