Josh Fine is a Principal and the CEO of Braid LLC, a technology affiliate of BBH focused on solving enterprise data transformation for financial services. Braid offers an AI-native data transformation platform that gives firms a scale solution to transform, connect, and manage their data with confidence. Josh is focused on realizing Braid's vision as a category-defining business, bringing together deep financial-services expertise and transformative technology to solve pervasive industry problems. Throughout his career, from his early work as an attorney to his more recent leadership roles spanning business and technology, he has focused on simplifying complexity and developing products, teams, and businesses that make financial operations more efficient, effective, and resilient.
Before launching Braid, Josh served as Head of Digital & Data for Investor Services at Brown Brothers Harriman, where he led product strategy and execution, including the launch of BBH Infuse®, an award-winning digital client experience platform, and a suite of data solutions designed to streamline client operations. He joined BBH in 2009 as Head of Global Tax Services and was appointed Head of Strategy for Investor Services in 2014.
Earlier in his career, Josh managed tax matters at Wellington Management and served as International Tax Counsel at Citigroup. He holds a B.A. from Hobart College, a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law.
Outside of Braid, Josh has a passion for road cycling and has ridden in the Pan-Mass Challenge for the last 11 years, fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
