Ivan Pirzada is a Principal with BBH Capital Partners. He has extensive experience as an M&A advisor and private equity investor and currently oversees BBH's Corporate Advisory, Commercial Lending, and Private Equity investing activities in the Boston office. Prior to this, Ivan was responsible for BBH’s healthcare corporate finance advisory (M&A) practice worldwide, leading a variety of transactions, including equity recapitalizations, corporate sales, divestitures, and acquisitions. His clients included owner-managed private companies and public companies in both the U.S. and Europe. He joined the firm in 2000. Ivan serves on the board of directors of Haven Behavioral Healthcare, an owner/operator of in-patient psychiatric hospitals, and Ethos Veterinary Health, an owner/operator of specialty veterinary hospitals across the U.S. He is also a member of the faculty at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health and a member of the school's Health Policy and Management Executive Council. Ivan is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
