Christopher McChesney

Chris McChesney is Head of Product for Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH)’s Alternative Fund Services business within Investor Services, which provides asset servicing and operating model solutions to the world’s leading asset managers and financial institutions. Chris is responsible for product strategy, development, and overall business planning for BBH’s private markets business, including solutions supporting real estate, private equity, private credit, and hedge fund clients. In this role, he oversees business strategy, technology planning, and product management, helping clients navigate the evolving operational and servicing demands of private markets investing.

Since joining BBH in 2001, Chris has held a variety of leadership positions across technology, global markets, and business development. Early in his career at BBH, he was part of the team that launched BBH Infomediary, the firm’s messaging and connectivity platform used by many of the world’s largest institutional investors. He later held product management responsibility for BBH’s global foreign exchange trading business and was involved in sourcing and operating investments for BBH Capital Partners, the firm’s private equity investment business. These experiences provide him with a broad perspective on the operational, technology, and investment challenges facing alternative asset managers.

Prior to joining BBH, Chris held product management roles at Engage, an internet media and enterprise software company, and at The Boston Consulting Group, where he helped support the firm’s expansion efforts in Europe and Asia. He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand and earned his Certified Public Accountant designation.
