Lynn Kelley, Ph.D.
As a Senior Advisor, Dr. Lynn Kelley assists in sourcing, investment evaluation, transaction execution and providing post-investment value-added oversight to BBH Capital Partners portfolio companies.
Lynn retired from Union Pacific Railroad in 2018 as Senior Vice President and was also the executive co-owner of the company’s Innovation program. Prior to joining Union Pacific in 2011, Lynn was Vice President, Operational Excellence at Textron and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Lynn was previously a professor and department chair at Madonna University, where she taught statistics and research courses in the U.S. and China. Prior to becoming a professor, Lynn held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Doctors Hospital in Detroit.
Lynn serves on the board of directors of Precision Terminal Logistics, Loram Holdings and Lean Enterprise Institute. She is a graduate of the University of Detroit-Mercy, holds a Ph.D. from Wayne State University and received an MBA from Michigan State University. Lynn completed post-doctoral fellowships at the U.S. Census Bureau and American Society of Engineering Education. She has published 17 articles and three books in the fields of statistics and operational excellence.
