Kevin W. Stone

Kevin W. Stone is a Partner and BBH’s Chief Financial Officer, with global responsibility for Finance, Compliance, Enterprise Services, and Human Resources, supporting 6,000 employees across 18 offices. A member of the firm’s Executive Committee for over ten years and Chair of its Finance Committee, Kevin helps guide BBH’s long-term strategy with a focus on stewardship, resilience, and the responsibilities the firm has to its clients, employees, and the communities where they live and work.

Since joining BBH in 1992, Kevin has held leadership roles in Operations, Treasury, and Finance, building a comprehensive understanding of the firm, its businesses, and the clients it serves. He was appointed head of the Treasury department in 2007, overseeing BBH’s asset-liability and liquidity management functions, and his role expanded in 2010 to include the broader finance function. He was named a Partner in 2009.  

Kevin is also an active member of BBH’s Global Inclusion Council and passionate about developing the next generation of leaders and helping colleagues build the judgment, confidence, and sense of responsibility required to serve clients and communities well.

Beyond the firm, Kevin is proud to serve on the Executive Committee of the Board of the United Way of New York City, and as Treasurer of the Board of The Boys’ Club of New York. These roles reflect a service ethic that has long shaped how he leads: with accountability, humility, and a commitment to strengthening the institutions and communities around him. 

Kevin holds a BA from Harvard University and is an avid Boston sports fan.
