Denise Mak is the Head of Service Delivery Asia ex-Japan and is based in Hong Kong. In this role, Denise is responsible for overseeing Global Client Service, Transfer Agency, Market Services, Global Tax Services, and Change Management. Denise and her teams focus on delivering service excellence to regionally based financial institution, asset manager clients as well as providing best-in-class experience to our clients’ APAC based investors.
Denise is a Director on the Board of Brown Brothers Harriman (Hong Kong) Limited, Brown Brothers Harriman Trustee Services (Hong Kong) Limited and Brown Brothers Harriman Business Services (Beijing) Company Limited. Denise also serves as a key member of BBH’s Woman’s Network and BBH’s representative in Asia for ICI Global. Denise joined BBH in 2010 as Relationship Manager leveraging her cross-border fund servicing experience to assist global asset manager and wealth manager relationships to navigate through complex regional investment and distribution dynamics. Denise further focused on developing the global service and operating model in supporting clients’ regional distribution strategies as Head of Transfer Agency Asia. Prior to joining BBH, Denise held various roles in relationship management, client services and fund administration at RBC Dexia Investor Services and State Street Bank and Trust Company in Hong Kong.
Denise holds a Master Degree in commerce (major in advanced finance) and a Bachelor Degree in commerce (major in accounting and finance) from University of New South Wales in Australia.
