Joshua Fine joined BBH in 2009 as the Head of Global Tax Services.  In 2014 Josh was appointed Head of Strategy for Investor Services, where he guides strategic business and investment planning globally.  Josh is a member of the Investor Services Oversight Committee (ISOC).

Prior to joining BBH, Josh worked at Wellington Management Company where he managed tax affairs in Europe, Australia and parts of Asia.   Josh began his career as International Tax Counsel at Citigroup, where he worked on a variety of corporate tax matters in New York City and London.

Josh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Religious Studies from Hobart College, a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

Internal Revenue Service Releases Proposed FATCA Regulations

On February 8, 2012, the IRS released the long-awaited, proposed FATCA regulations, which confirmed the widely held belief that FATCA will impose a substantial number of new responsibilities on foreign financial institutions and U.S. withholding agents.
