Kevin W. Stone

Kevin W. Stone is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Brown Brothers Harriman, with global responsibility for Finance, Compliance, Enterprise Services, and Human Resources across the firm’s 18 offices and 6,000 employees. A member of BBH’s Executive Committee for more than a decade and Chair of its Finance Committee, Kevin plays an important role in shaping the firm’s strategy and ensuring its long-term financial strength and resilience. His leadership reflects BBH’s enduring emphasis on stewardship, sound judgment, and accountability to its clients and people

Since joining BBH in 1992, Kevin has held senior leadership positions spanning Operations, Treasury, and Finance, giving him unusually broad experience across the firm and a deep understanding of its businesses and clients. He was appointed Head of Treasury in 2007, assuming responsibility for BBH’s asset-liability and liquidity management and subsequently took on leadership of the broader Finance function in 2010. He was named a Partner in 2009.

Kevin is also an active member of BBH’s Global Inclusion Council and has long been committed to developing the firm’s next generation of leaders. He is particularly focused on helping colleagues cultivate the judgment, confidence, and sense of responsibility that are hallmarks of leadership at BBH.

Beyond BBH, Kevin serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of United Way of New York City and as Treasurer of the Board of The Boys’ Club of New York. His involvement with both organizations reflects a longstanding commitment to civic leadership and to institutions that expand opportunity and strengthen New York City.

Kevin holds a BA from Harvard University.
