Marta Kraszewska joined our BBH Krakow office in 2014 and now plays a key role in the Alternatives product team, focusing on accounting and financial reporting. Alongside her team, she works closely with clients to provide data that is comprehensive, exact, and forward-looking. Whether guiding financial reporting activity, supporting fund data needs, or helping clients think through what’s next, Marta brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach and a clear commitment to exceeding expectations.
What keeps you energized?
This industry and my role are constantly changing - and that’s exciting for me. Each year brings new client expectations and new regulations to adapt to, so our team is always evolving our thinking to improve how we support our clients.
A big part of my work is collaboration. I sit with clients to review their financial statements, answer questions, and help them navigate market changes—making sure the story we present reflects their strategic goals.
Clients are always looking for products and services that can grow and adapt with them, and I love partnering with them to achieve their goals. It’s rewarding to listen to their ideas, challenge them when needed, and then work together to turn those ideas into meaningful actions that have shape, impact, and purpose.
What do you value about how work gets done at BBH?
Respect and trust are at the heart of our culture. When you trust the people around you, you’re more willing to share ideas and more open to listening to the suggestions of others. That openness helps drive ideas and innovation.
Autonomy is also important, but that doesn’t mean working alone – in fact, it’s quite the opposite. For me, autonomy is about having the space to think, create, and contribute—knowing that I have the support of my team. Everyone has a voice, and everyone is encouraged to use it. Bringing together different ways of thinking makes all our outcomes richer and more meaningful.
What do you think clients value about working with BBH?
In an industry that changes as quickly as ours, understanding, planning, and responding is essential. Our clients feel our commitment, not just in what we deliver for them, but also how we deliver it. Our commitment shows up in the ways we collaborate, invite questions, welcome feedback, and really look to understand their needs so we can improve our processes. We’re always listening which helps us to always be improving, and that’s where the advantage of our partnership approach becomes clear.
What’s something people might not know about you?
Outside of BBH, I’m an Assistant Professor at the AGH University in Krakow, where engaging with students interested in finance, technology, and the industry’s rapid evolution is a constant source of motivation. I’m passionate about helping students bridge the gap between theory and real world application—because the ability to translate ideas into practical solutions is an essential skill in today’s workplace.
Our discussions are thoughtful and energetic, and my students’ fresh perspectives continually push me to stay curious and keep learning. It’s especially rewarding to see many of them pursue internships and early career opportunities at BBH, bringing that academic foundation into a professional setting.
Marta’s dedication to teaching has been formally recognized with two commendations from AGH University: The Rector’s Individual Award for Teaching Achievements (for the second consecutive year) and the Rector’s Team Award for Organizational Achievements – congratulations Marta.
Why did you join the Parenting Network?
When I joined BBH, I wanted to be a part of something outside of my day-to-day responsibilities and the Parenting Network stood out instantly. As a mother of two, I found it valuable to connect with colleagues who were in the same situation as me, navigating the ups and downs of parenting.
Sharing experiences—from managing important moments with our kids and supporting their unique personalities, to figuring out returning to work post maternity leave—has been a real game changer.
One of my favorite moments of the year is when BBH hosts events for our children. They love coming in to work with me and being treated like VIPs – they may even be BBH’s happiest little ambassadors.
We know our success starts with yours! If you’re interested in exploring a career at BBH, we’re always looking for talented individuals to join the team. Visit the Careers page to view open roles.
