December XXX – Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), a leading global ETF custodian and administrator, has been selected by Brown Advisory to provide Custody and Transfer Agency services for its first ETF, the Brown Advisory Flexible Equity ETF (NASDAQ:BAFE).
“We value BBH as a long-time service provider and partner. It was clear in our early discussions that BBH would provide tremendous value as the custodian for our first ETF,” said Chris Bartlett, Global Head of Institutional Business at Brown Advisory. “Their collaborative approach has helped us navigate the path to a successful launch.”
The global active ETF industry reached a milestone of $1.07 trillion assets1
this year. Active ETFs provide multiple benefits, including tax efficiency, transparency, liquidity, and ease of access. With active ETFs holding only 8% of the current market share, there is a strong opportunity for growth over the long term2.
“We’re proud to have been selected by Brown Advisory as they embark on the important milestone of launching their first active ETF,” said Tim Huver, Managing Director for ETF Services at BBH. “This expansion of our longstanding relationship is testament to our team’s deep expertise, and we’re thrilled to partner on their future goals for growth.”
