BBH Expands its European Sales Team with Hires Across Alternative and ETF Fund Servicing

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) today announced the expansion of its Investor Services sales team in Europe to support its continued focus on client growth and commitment to Alternative and ETF fund servicing for asset managers.

BOSTON, MA, July 24, 2023 - Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) today announced the expansion of its Investor Services sales team in Europe to support its continued focus on client growth and commitment to Alternative and ETF fund servicing for asset managers. David Murphy and Andrea Murray join BBH as European Business Development Managers for Alternatives and ETFs respectively, while Holly Gardner takes on the role as Head of Business Development for BBH Luxembourg.

David Murphy brings over 25 years’ experience in the alternatives investment and investment management industries. He joins BBH’s Alternatives team having most recently led business development efforts at Forensic Alpha. Prior to this, David spent 10 years at State Street where he was Head of Alternatives Sales, EMEA. He has also held senior product and business management positions at BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank.

Andrea Murray re-joins BBH from Blackwater Search & Advisory where she was Head of Business Development, with a focus on global ETF market intelligence and helping clients navigate the European ETF landscape. Prior to this, Andrea was a Senior Relationship Manager and ETF specialist at ProShares. Andrea’s 20-plus year career began at BBH in Boston and has spanned the U.S., Australia, and the U.K. She also served as Co-Head of the Women in ETFs London Chapter from 2020 to 2022.

Holly Gardner has moved into the role of Head of Business Development for Luxembourg from her previous role as BBH Global Head of TA Operations and Shareholders Services for Alternative Funds. Holly has been with BBH for 15 years and has held several senior positions across Service Delivery, Client Service, and Relationship Management in Boston, New York, Krakow, and Luxembourg.
