The Center for Women & Wealth® and BBH are dedicated to the advancement of women. We convene local and national forums for women to share experiences and discuss financial, investment and planning decisions.

Women Founders and Funders Dinner

The Center for Women & Wealth hosted a Women Founders and Funders dinner featuring Jules Pieri, CEO and co-founder of The Grommet, a platform that sources and launches undiscovered products. Pieri shared her story about launching The Grommet and the obstacles she faced along the way.

Discussions focused on work-life balance and finding time for yourself in a culture of business.

5th Annual BBH Women’s Network

The Women’s Network tackled the topic of how to turn “Grit to Great.” Caroline Miller, a renowned educator on goals, grit, and their connection to happiness, explored what grit is, why it matters and how anyone can get it. Guest speaker, Jackie Fenn, Creator of the Gartner Hype Cycle model, presented her research on why creativity is necessary for successful corporate culture.

2020 Women on Boards: The National Conversation on Board Diversity

Senior executives discussed how and why companies are increasing the number of women on U.S. corporate boards. Coinciding with the launch of the BBH CW&W, BBH hosted the sixth annual Boston Women’s Forum. Claire Shipman, award winning journalist and co-author of The Confidence Code, provided more than 100 attendees insights on women and confidence; she explored the effect of confidence on success and how to gain it.


Next Generation Summit

In June, BBH hosted a Next Generation Summit in New York at the Soho Grand Hotel, which was an intimate and engaging gathering, attended by both clients and BBH employees. Issues discussed included spending, value investing, leadership and social impact. Based on the positive experience of attendees, BBH is planning to hold more of these events with interactive workshops in 2016.
