Justin Reed Managing Director, Private Banking
As the Deputy Chief Investment Officer within our Private Banking business, Justin Reed is part of the Investment Research Group, which is responsible for manager selection, capital allocation, and investment decisions across Private Banking’s client portfolio.
Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Justin was a Senior Investment Officer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he spent four years helping to manage the museum’s $3.5 billion top-quartile endowment, including manager sourcing and evaluation, asset allocation, performance analysis, market commentary, liquidity management, and investment committee communications. Prior to the museum, Justin was a Senior Investment Associate at the Princeton University Investment Company (PRINCO), where he was a key member of the investment team covering a broad range of asset classes. Justin started his career at JP Morgan’s private bank.
Justin holds an A.B. from Princeton University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He was named to Chief Investment Officer magazine’s NextGen Top 25 List in 2018 and Trusted Insight’s Top 30 Foundation Rising Stars in 2017.
