W. Carter Sullivan III Partner, Private Banking
Carter Sullivan is a Partner in the Private Banking line of business at Brown Brothers Harriman. Private Banking provides privately owned companies and their owners with senior debt, private equity, private wealth management and corporate advisory services. Mr. Sullivan is the head of BBH's Corporate Advisory & Banking group. He is also the chairman of the Client Acceptance Committee and a member of the Private Banking Oversight Committee, the Credit Committee and the Governance, Risk & Compliance Committee.
Mr. Sullivan joined BBH in 1984 and became a General Partner in 2000. He graduated from Connecticut College in 1979 and is a 1984 Beta Gamma Sigma graduate of Columbia University Business School. Mr. Sullivan is an emeritus trustee of Connecticut College and a member of Columbia University Business School's Family Business Program Advisory Board.
