Douglas A. Donahue, Jr. Partner
Douglas (Digger) A. Donahue, Jr. joined the Boston office of BBH in 1976 in the Corporate Banking business. After several years in commercial banking he became increasingly involved in the firm's emerging Global Custody business. In 1997 Mr. Donahue assumed overall responsibility for this business which together with BBH's US Custody business became known as the firm's Investor Services line of business.
Mr. Donahue was named Partner of the firm in 1990 and in addition to his Investor Services responsibility, in 1997, he was named the Partner in charge of the Boston Office and joined the firm wide Executive Committee. In January 2008 he was named Managing Partner of the firm and served in this capacity through the end of 2015. As a retired Managing Partner, he will remain a member of the firm's Executive Committee through 2016.
Mr. Donahue is a 1969 graduate of Phillips Academy, a 1973 graduate of Dartmouth College and a 1976 graduate of the Harvard Business School. He resides in Boston.
