Robert D. Stewart

Robert D. Stewart, Senior Vice President, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), is the Head of Global Custody Product in the U.S.

Mr. Stewart joined the firm in 1995 as a Client Service Manager overseeing a custody and accounting client service team. In his current role as Head of Global Custody Product, he is focused on the strategy, investments and profitability of BBH’s Global Custody product and business. Prior to this, Mr. Stewart was the Assistant Department Head of the Global Custody Client Service Group. In this role, he was responsible for the quality and delivery of our custody products and services to a broad group of institutional clients.

Mr. Stewart has over 20 years of experience in financial services and has been actively involved in industry working groups such as the SIFMA Asset Management Group and the ICI Security Operations Advisory Comittee (SOAC), among others. Prior to joining the firm, Bob began his career at The Boston Company. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and earned an MBA from Bentley College.
