Christopher W. McChesney Senior Vice President, Investor Services
Christopher W. McChesney leads the Brown Brother Harriman’s (BBH), Alternative Fund Services Business, which provides banking, administration, and technology services to real estate, private equity, alternative credit and hedge funds. In this role Mr. McChesney is responsible for overall business strategy, technology planning and the global alternatives fund services product management function. Mr. McChesney has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Since joining the Firm in 2001 Mr. McChesney has held a variety of senior roles in technology, global markets, and business development. Early in his career at the Firm he was part of the team that launched BBH Infomediary, a widely successful hosted communications platform for the financial services industry used today by many of the world's largest institutional investors. Mr. McChesney also has had product management responsibility for the Firm’s $1.5 trillion global Foreign Exchange trading operation. He was involved in sourcing and operating investments for BBH Capital Partners, a private equity investor in middle market growth companies.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. McChesney worked in product management roles at Engage, an internet media and enterprise software company and for The Boston Consulting Group where he helped BCG expand its footprint in Europe and Asia. Mr. McChesney started his career at Coopers & Lybrand, where he was accredited as Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. McChesney is a graduate with honors from Middlebury College and has an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
