Seán Páircéir is a Partner, and head of Investor Services’ Relationship Excellence group, and co-head of Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also serves as Supervising Partner for BBH’s Dublin and London offices. Seán has over 20 years of financial services experience. He joined BBH in 2000 as a Managing Director resident in Dublin, and was appointed Partner in 2010. Having spent his entire career in the global investment funds industry, Seán has contributed significantly to BBH’s success in building a significant footprint in global funds servicing. He is a member of the Investment Management Advisory Committee of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Seán has played a leadership role in the broader global funds industry as the Chairman of the Irish Funds Industry, and a member of the Irish Government's IFSC Funds Group. He is a frequent contributor to industry conferences and publications on regulation and product innovation.
Seán is a graduate of University College Dublin.
The first UCITS fund was launched on April 14th 1988. In celebration of UCITS' 25th Anniversary, a specially commissioned publication has been issued, co-sponsored by BBH.
