Our actively managed TIPS portfolios are designed to deliver superior results by taking advantage of mispricing caused by short-term volatility.  Our proprietary modeling processes help to identify these opportunities.

A typical TIPS portfolio at BBH will hold 15 to 20 securities with at least 80% of the portfolio market value in U.S. Treasury TIPS themselves. Opportunistic investments may also include nominal U.S. Treasury securities and non-U.S. sovereign inflation-linked securities (currency hedged).

For TIPS portfolios, the strategies we employ to capture anomalies and inefficiencies fall into three broad categories: fundamental strategies, technical strategies, and opportunistic strategies.
